Our October meeting is the third WEB meeting of the season. We hope you’ll join us to show your support.

We also encourage you to use this meeting as a chance to network with new people. Instead of sitting with the same group or coworkers, consider joining a different table and stepping outside your comfort zone. WEB is all about building connections within our industry and promoting ourselves and our companies.

We look forward to seeing you there!

SPEAKER - JENNIFER RAKIN, CHILD ADVOCACY CENTER OF NORTHEAST MISSOURI (CAC NEMO)

The Child Advocacy Center of Northeast Missouri (CAC NEMO) plays an important role in helping children and families in our community who have experienced abuse. The Center provides a safe, supportive place where children can be heard, cared for, and connected with the resources they need to begin healing. By bringing together law enforcement, child protection professionals, medical providers, counselors, prosecutors, and advocates, the CAC helps make what can be an overwhelming and difficult process a little easier for children and their families.

The CAC’s work goes beyond responding to cases of abuse. They also provide counseling and family support, advocacy services, forensic interviews, and education focused on preventing child abuse and keeping children safe. We are pleased to welcome Jennifer Rakin, Development Director for the Child Advocacy Center of Northeast Missouri, at our next meeting. Jen will be joining us on behalf of the CAC to share more about the Center, the services they provide, and the meaningful impact they are making for children and families throughout our community. We hope you’ll join us and learn more about this important local organization and the ways our community can support their mission
